Dave Nevison, best known as a presenter and pundit on Racing TV, has been involved in racing all his life. His first paid job came in 1976 selling Timeform racecards at racecourses. After ten years in the City as a Foreign Exchange trader, he turned professional in 1993, spending 20 years betting on horses full time and attending meetings six days a week.
He has owned several racehorses, including Rising Cross, runner-up in the Epsom Oaks and dam of a Japanese Derby winner. Dave’s deep knowledge of placing and campaigning horses helped trainer John Best achieve Group 1 and Royal Ascot successes.
